A glimpse where I can show that marriages were done like this in earlier times.
The Challenge
Digital calligraphy is much tougher than traditional hand calligraphy because it requires mastering complicated software, handling digital tools precisely, and trying to mimic the natural feel of ink and paper on a digital screen.
/ took first step
the approach
I've been practicing digital calligraphy for a while, and finally have a chance to use it for this project. I used a bamboo digital pen to create calligraphy and other artwork using brushes in Photoshop.
Core concept
In Hindu culture, fire plays a significant role in marriage ceremonies. Fire is personified as Agni, the god of fire, in Hindu mythology. Agni is considered a witness to the marriage ceremony and is invoked to bless the union of the couple. The presence of Agni symbolizes the presence of the divine and the continuity of life.
Outcome
I designed my calligraphy with inspiration from flames, making sure each word reflects that fiery vibe.
The fonts I created echo the mesmerizing dance of flames, infusing each letter with the fluidity and warmth of fire.

Began sketching
With my Bamboo Pen, I started sketching digitally, adding countless strokes to capture the essence of traditional Indian architecture and ensuring it resembled a painting.
A sample of ancient crafts
Incorporating ancient Indian architecture into the front background, I aimed to mirror the rich culture and timeless traditions of India.
Local architeture
The city where the bride resides was established by the Parsi community, and remnants of their homes still stand today. I've incorporated these same crafts here to evoke a sense of nostalgia and connection to their city.
